RUX Returns to Kickstarter with Launch of Waterproof Tote Bag Line

Squamish, BC (June 16, 2025) /OUTDOOR SPORTSWIRE/ – RUX, the Squamish, BC-based innovator in rugged, integrated outdoor gear carry and storage, is returning to Kickstarter with the debut of its third-generation Waterproof Tote Bag line. Available in three versatile sizes, the new bags deliver a rugged, fully waterproof solution built for city commutes, surf missions, snowstorms, and everything in between.
Unlike traditional dry bags and everyday totes, the RUX Waterproof Tote Bag combines rugged waterproof performance in a modern urban aesthetic. The Waterproof Tote opens wide for fast packing and seals tight with a roll-top closure that folds flat when not in use. The bags are constructed from 840D TPU-coated nylon with RF-welded seams for a watertight seal and long-term durability. A lighter 420D double-coated roll-top offers a smoother, flexible closure, while a composite padded base protects gear from below. Internal and external stash pockets keep essentials organized and the silicone-grip padded shoulder strap supports hands-free carry.

Each bag in the new line connects with RUX’s component ecosystem that can be endlessly configured to satisfy the most meticulous gear needs with padded shoulder straps, cooler cubes, packing cubes, gear pockets, or clipped directly into the RUX’s flagship 70L gear box.
This campaign marks a return to the brand’s roots. RUX first launched in 2020 on a crowdfunding platform with the category-creating RUX 70L: a collapsible, modular gear box.
