New Optics Line Combines Polarized Lenses by Carl Zeiss With Italian Craftsmanship
Jackson, Wyo. (November 20, 2020) – Teton Gravity Research (TGR), the global leader in action and adventure lifestyle, today unveiled the new TGR Sun Optics, a collection of the world’s finest sunglasses handmade in Italy with polarized lenses by Carl Zeiss. The new TGR Sun Optics are now available online and at TGR stores.
Under development by TGR’s designers & partners at Zeiss since 2018, the new Sun Optics signify the next step in the evolution of TGR Optics. TGR has been traveling the world for the past 25 years in the harshest conditions while using the world’s most premium Zeiss cameralenses, ensuring state-of-the-art and award-winning cinematography.
Now TGR has incorporated that technology and research to create a line of optics featuring the and the best polarized lenses in the world, perfect for days on the snow, water, trail, or wherever your journey takes you.
The TGR Sun Optics collection also features Italian handmade frames made by artisan craftsmen who have been making the world’s best frames for generations. Each frame is made in the Varese region of Italy, only 5 km from the Zeiss lens factory, reducing the carbon footprint of the collection significantly. Additionally, TGR frames are made in an eco-friendly factory that is powered by 100 percent renewable energy, notably powered by solar.
TGR worked closely with the team at Carl Zeiss to create a lens program with polarized technology that was built to perform on the mountain, water, and anywhere adventure takes you.
