Smartwool Hosts Pre-March Poster-Making Happy Hour at Outdoor Retailer

All trade show attendees invited to support public lands with signs and march

Steamboat Springs, Colo. (July 20, 2017) — What is a public march without signs? Quiet. Smartwool is calling on all Outdoor Retailer Summer Market tradeshow attendees marching at the “This Land is Our Land March”. It’s time to get creative, celebrate the outdoors, and let your voice be heard.

Smartwool will host a poster sign-making happy hour at ORSM ahead of the industry-wide march for public lands.

The poster station will be open on the first day of the show, Wednesday, July 26 from 3:00 to 6:00 p.m. with a happy hour starting at 5:00 p.m. It will also be open on day 2, Thursday, July 27 from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. ahead of that day’s march. All tradeshow attendees are invited to stop by the Smartwool booth and make their own signs. Poster board and art supplies will be provided.

The “This Land Is Our Land March for Public Lands” is Thursday, July 27 at 4:30 p.m. The Smartwool team will join thousands of other marchers on the South Plaza of the Salt Palace Convention Center and proceed along a designated route to the Utah State Capital in celebration of the public lands.

Smartwool will also be selling a selection of baselayer and sport underwear apparel items at the booth while supplies last.  Prices range from $20-$40 and all proceeds will go to the Conservation Alliance.
